HOTEL at the BAKKER ~ Fully booked for 2025 ~

Above the museum are the romantic, antique hotel rooms. These can be reached after the museum closes via a separate front door and a staircase. Unfortunately, this is an old-fashioned, steep staircase and therefore not easily accessible for guests with limited mobility. We apologize for this, as we are unable to make any changes.

The hotel also has a quiet, spacious courtyard where you can relax.

In front of the hotel is the bakery's small square/terrace. Here you can enjoy the sun all day long. If it gets too hot in mid-summer, our beautiful plane tree (in the middle of the square) provides wonderful shade.

Next to the bakery is another terrace, the "Tea Garden," where you can also spend the entire day. Opposite the Tea Garden, you can walk straight into the Zeepeduinen dunes via the Duinweggetje (Dune Path). (A 3-minute walk.) Here you'll find various hiking trails.

Breakfast

Staying at the bakery...this means waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread!

Each person receives fresh rolls including a croissant, a cup of coffee or tea, a glass of fruit juice, butter, sandwich fillings, and boiled eggs. These will be ready for you in the 1937-style Bruynzeel kitchen in the bakery.

All our bread is hand-made (with love) in an artisanal way. Our wheat comes from this island and is ground in Zierikzee by the "de Hoop" mill.

The hotel is closed during the winter months. It will reopen on April 1st.

Even if you're not staying with us, you're very welcome. Breakfast costs €17.80 per person.
